David W. Hall


avid brings over ten years of commercial litigation experience to The Hustead Law Firm. David is admitted in Colorado and New Mexico and has litigated a broad array of disputes, specializing in construction defects and employment litigation. David has a proven track record of litigating each case with measured authority and an unparalleled drive to achieve the best results for his clients. 

Prior to joining the Firm, David began his career in Durango, Colorado with the distinguished firm of Shand, Newbold & Chapman, P.C. As a member of the firm’s litigation group, David handled every manner of commercial dispute, with an emphasis on real estate and construction related disputes. In 2013, David relocated to Denver and established his own firm, focusing primarily on employment litigation and serving as outside general counsel for several developers and general contractors.  

David lived most of his early years in San Luis Obispo, California until moving to Durango, Colorado to attend Fort Lewis College, where he obtained a Bachelor of Political Science degree, graduating with honors. David attended Regent University School of Law on scholarship and obtained his Juris Doctor, graduating in the top 15% of his law class.

David is an avid baseball fan, enjoys coaching youth baseball and also enjoys fly fishing and vacationing in Mexico with his girlfriend Leah. David has a deep interest in public policy and recently testified before the Colorado Senate Judiciary Committee on behalf of a bill that he drafted, which resulted in the bill’s passage through the Senate.
