About
Sam is an Associate at The Hustead Law Firm. He graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He subsequently attended the University of Colorado Law School in Boulder, where he focused on civil and commercial litigation, competed in the Rothgerber Moot Court Competition, and served as a student attorney for the Samuelson-Glushko Technology Law and Policy Clinic. As a student attorney, Sam advocated and testified before the Colorado Senate Business Committee in support of the nation’s first Consumer Right to Repair bill to be enacted.
While in law school, Sam honed his legal skills at a boutique civil litigation firm in Denver, where he worked as a law clerk for two years. After graduating from law school, Sam began his legal career as a plaintiffs’ personal injury and workers’ compensation attorney, specializing in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, construction defects, medical malpractice, premises liability, products liability, and insurance coverage disputes. Since joining The Hustead Law Firm, Sam has expanded his practice to include surety disputes and commercial litigation.
As a first-generation American, Sam is fluent in Russian and proficient in French. In his free time, he enjoys boxing, traveling, snowboarding, and playing the piano.
