Christopher J. Stock, Jr.

hris is an associate attorney at the Hustead Law Firm.  Before he joined the firm, Chris served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Tamara S. Russell in Colorado’s First Judicial District where he drafted orders on complex civil litigation matters.  Chris’s current practice focuses on contract law, construction defect disputes, and suretyship.  He has drafted successful dispositive motions in multimillion dollar construction cases.

Chris attended undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan where he entered the College of Literature, Science, and Arts and served as vice president of the University of Michigan Rugby Football Club (which explains the unique structure of his face).  He obtained his Bachelor of Arts and graduated with honors in 2014.  He continued his education at the University of Colorado School of Law where he participated in the Thompson Mock Trial competition, and the Environmental Law Society.  During law school, he worked as a law clerk for the Great Lakes Environmental Law Center in Detroit, Michigan.  He is a member of the Colorado Bar.

Chris is a former Breckenridge ski instructor and still gets up to the mountains regularly when the snow is good.  In the summer, he continues to dabble in rugby tournaments and one-off matches, along with some sport climbing and mountain biking in his remaining spare time.
